Mexican Clay Soil, Wind and Fire
Three magic elements, which in combination gives birth to Mexican ceramics.
As natural as the wood, the trees, the water and the flowers, no other material can result more basic and functional; in this manner a great variety of beautiful and elaborate objects are manufactured, from the simplest and rustic to the most ornamental and elegant, the beauty and authenticity of the Mexican art has been captured picking up the handcrafting tradition of our regions preserved by our people throughout the centuries.
For centuries the hands of Mexican artisans have produced a great variety of clay articles such as pots, vases, statues, bricks and toys. All of these clay products had a practical and/or decorative everyday use.
